Not everyone in insurance sells insurance. In fact, there’s probably more non-sales positions, and the diversity of roles within our industry is one of the things that we think makes insurance, quite honestly, the greatest undiscovered field in business. Career paths include analytics, marketing, finance, operations and more – all the things needed to run a successful business intent on delivering the best possible service.
And here’s two realities about MJ Insurance that we think are pretty downright wonderful:

- Every one of our employees is unique in their interests in talents, which collectively makes us quite unstoppable as a team.
Take Ryan Daniele – he’s only been with MJ since 2015, when he first joined us as a risk management client executive. As he describes things, “I was excited about this company and culture and I valued what they said. And they saw an opportunity for me to grow and develop here.” And has he ever. He’s now knocking it out of the park as our Director of Property & Casualty Strategy and Operations, no small job at one of the top 100 independent agencies in the entire nation.
Ryan has enjoyed a pretty meteoric rise at MJ, but we truly believe good work deserves reward, so his advancement has been a no-brainer. We’re looking forward to seeing what he accomplishes next too, because it’s only been a few short years since his arrival, and he’s already such a vocal supporter. As he explains, “I was an outsider coming to a new organization. I knew nobody in Indiana—it was a big leap of faith for me…but it was worth it. The leadership here really struck me. I’m really convicted about working here and being a part of this family. I want to help this company grow…I really love talking about this place.”
